Product Description - The tiger, which is the 3rd position on the Chinese zodiac, symbolizes such character traits and bravery, competitiveness and unpredictability. This unique painting illustrates an important one of these traits. The painting illustrates a tiger with a calm appearance but you can see on its face that it is ready to pounce if necessary.

Some Chinese people consider the tiger to be an undesirable animal due to its volatile temperament.  Some Asian countries even saw a sharp decline of the birthrate during those years because of this.  Some of the world’s most successful people, however, were born in the years of the tiger. Examples include Dwight Eisenhower, Queen Elizabeth II, and Ludwig van Beethoven.
